Betty’s Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Betty's Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Servings: 24 cookies

Ingredients
- 2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 6 oz package chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup pecans
Instructions
- Mix flour with baking powder & salt.
- Cream sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Add chocolate.
- Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
- Stir in chocolate chips & pecans.
- Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 12-14 minutes
