Spinach Cheese Pinwheels

Spinach Cheese Pinwheels
Servings: 12 servings
Calories: 36kcal
Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent rolls 8oz
- 1/3 cup garlic & herb cream cheese spreadable
- 4 slices deli ham thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup baby spinach packed fresh
Instructions
- Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; seal perforations. Spread cream cheese over each rectangle to within 1/4 in of edges; top with ham and spinach.
- Roll up each jelly-roll style, starting with a short side. Pinch seams to seal. Refrigerate or freeze for 15 minutes before slicing for easier slicing. Cut each into 6 slices.
- Place the slices cut side down on greased baking sheets. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers
- Yield: 2 dozen
Notes
light alouette garlic & herb cheese spread or boursin cheese spread
Some variations you can add: onions, mushrooms, oregano, black pepper, other shredded cheese (may need to cook longer)
